Club Assistant

One person on the ground who makes your itinerary happen.

The problem

Four vendors arrive.
None of them holds the day.

A guide, an interpreter, a driver, a nanny. Each holds one part of the day. So when the weather turns, when a table falls through, when the children are tired — every one of those four lines ends at the same place. Your client. Or you, at two in the morning, from another country.

As it is today
Four lines, one guest

Every change is escalated to the person who came to rest.
With a Club Assistant
Four lines, one point of command

The day changes. The guest never hears about it.
We do not design the journey.
We make sure it survives contact with the day.
Where we stand

What we do — and what we will never do.

We do not
Design itineraries. That is your work, and we have no interest in it.
We do
Place a Club Assistant with your guest for the length of the stay.
We do not
Approach your client. Not during the trip, not after it, not ever.
We do
Hold the guide, the car, the interpreter and the nanny as one instrument.
We do not
Mark up your suppliers, or take a share of your margin.
We do
Decide on the ground, and tell you afterwards — not ask you before.
How a day runs

A day, as it actually happens.

Before
We walk your route
We take your itinerary and the guest brief, and we walk it ourselves — the timings, the doors, the stairs, the distance from the car to the table.
On arrival
Two, not one
A lead and a second. Every vendor reports to them. Your client is introduced to one person and never has to learn a second name.
Midday
The day changes
Rain. A closed road. A child who has had enough. The lead re-cuts the afternoon, moves the car, holds the restaurant, and tells the guide — in the time it takes to walk to the vehicle.
That evening
You are told, not consulted
A short note to you: what changed, what it cost, what we recommend for tomorrow. No decision was asked of your client.
After
One written account
What actually happened, to you. Not a report for the guest — a handover for the next agent who sends them.
Last week
The guest asked us to take on all of their future travel — including their trips outside Japan — before they had left the country.
What moved them was not the itinerary.
It was that they never had to re-arrange anything themselves.
Before we propose anything

Two questions we would rather ask than answer.

01
How many days a year do your clients actually spend on the ground in Japan?
02
What breaks most often for you — the guide, the car, or the timing?
We would rather hear your answer
than send you a proposal.
